HTCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that operates on a budget comprised of membership dues and grants. Our membership dues are used primarily to support a part-time Executive Director, with grant funds supporting our program activities.
For 2018, approximately 46% of our revenues were from membership dues, and 54% from grants.
For 2018, 92% of our expenses were for programs, and 8% for general administration.
In July 2018 we received a generous Systems Change grant from the United Way of Tarrant County. The grant supports our healthy food access initiative through June 2019.
